RDP over SSH Tunnel

avatar

Hi

I have a fully working SSH Tunnel entry in RDM, and I have setup Firefox to use it as a proxy and I access resources without issues.
Normally I will have Host "inherit", but I was unsure if it resolved wrong.

If I then configure a RDP session to use this tunnel, I can't get it to connected. Currently I have things setup like this:

In the new SSH tunnel connection that opens I see the following error:

Seams like it is using SOCKS version 3?
Most other configurations that I try never shows and entries in the ssh tunnel log, as if it isn't trying to use it.

What do I do wrong?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,

Could you please specify the version of RDM you are currently using?
What type of data source are you using?

I'm also wondering if this worked for you previously or if this is a new configuration?

Let me know,

Best regards,

Samuel Dery

Hi

Newest RDM, and data source is DVLS, also newest version.

I'm currently testing the setup, so there is no previously :)

But if it looks setup correctly, then I will have to create a test to see if it is variables with makes thing not work again :)

Hello,

Thank you for your reply,

I see, from the screenshots, I do not see any issues with the configuration itself,

Let me know the result of your test,

Best regards,

Hi!

I have the same requirements (RDP over SSH) but an other approach: I did not setup an seperate tunnel session, but confugured the sessin within the RDP session. My question here: Is it possible to get the credentials from a "Linked (Vault)" source?
