Screen Sizing / Remote Desktop Size options not working when using MSRDC
We have been using Remote Desktop Manager for some time to connect to Azure Windows Virtual Machines using local admin account details.
With this setup, the Screen Sizing / Remote Desktop Size options would work perfectly and size the remote machine desktop properly and immediately when the RDP connection is established, and also if/when the RDP manager window was resized. (see attachment #1)
Since then, we have moved to connecting to all our Azure VMs using Entra ID passwordless login.
In order to make this work, the RDP version under Properties -> Advanced -> RDP Version needed to be changed to MSRDC (see attachment #2)
Since then, when initiating an RDP connection to these VMs, the remote desktop is not immediately resized correctly to fit the RDP window, resulting in scroll bars appearing on the side of the RDM widnow, and the Task Bar and Start button not being viewable (see Attachment #3)
We can work around this by making the session full screen, then changing back to Embedded (Tabbed) again (our preferred option), however when I'm in and out of 8 or 9 different VMs before morning coffee break this gets rather irritating.
Are there any settings I can change to make sure the Screen Sizing / Remote Desktop Size options are applied immediately on login when using MSRDC, or is this a known issue?

Hello
First, your screenshots do not seem to have attached successfully. Can you try reuploading them?
MSRDC provides an equivalent ActiveX interface to MSTSC; meaning from our side the APIs and etc are the same. However it's not actually officially documented or supported by Microsoft, we may be hitting a difference in how the controls behave. I'm also wondering if this is a regression or a bug that's always existing.
It would be really helpful to know the version of MS RDC you have installed as well as what version of RDM you are running.
Thanks and kind regards,
