Midnight Commander mouse scroll like in PUTTY when using SSH Terminal
Hello,
thank you for great app. Have one feature request though. When using Midnight Commander in PUTTY and I mouse scroll when file is being edited (after pressing F4) then content of file is scrolled and not the whole terminal window. Is it possible to mimic this behaviour also in your app?
Best regards,
jathri
Hello,
I checked with our terminal expert and this is a bug, as it should act like PuTTY. I've moved your ticket in the appropriate forum and opened an internal ticket so we can investigate. We will post back here once a fix is available.

Sorry, I think we actually already have an option to change the behavior.
If you go in File > Settings > Entry types > Sessions > Terminal, you should see an option "force scrolling history when using mouse wheel".
You should be able to set this value to "no" and it should be the same behavior as PuTTY.
Let me know if this works for you.

Yes, it works. Many thanks! But perhaps the default value should be no then. What do you think?
I'm glad this could help, thanks for the feedback!
We will keep in mind changing the default value, but at the moment I'm not sure we will since some users may be used to the behavior and prefer it for their usage. Changing a default value is always a challenge because of that, and we won't know how much negative feedback we will get until we make that change.
I hope that for now configuring this manually works well enough for you.
