The update completed normally as far as I could tell, but now when I launch RDM it gets stuck at "loading sessions from data source Local Data Source".
I've rebooted, run a disk check, and there was no unusual event prior to this issue, like a system crash, etc. I've also uninstalled/reinstalled RDM and the problem persists.
I'm using a local data source on my computer and I'm the sole user.
Anyone else having issues after this update?
I have the same problem. There is no ask for password for local source database, so maybe there is a problem. I see this dialog (with password) only after killing application - it's too late, unfortunately ;-)

I'm able to reproduce the issue and a fix is in the works.
In the meantime, you can add this line in your RemoteDesktopManager.cfg file (anywhere within the <Option> tag.
<Option> ... <DisableMultiThreadLoading>true</DisableMultiThreadLoading> ... </Option>

After added this option it`s working good on version 2024.2.15.0 after upgrade.
Good job.
This option maybe repair on future release ?
Best Regards
I uninstalled 2.15.0 and reinstalled 2.14.0 and I'm working fine with 2.14.0 installed with the full installer, complete package option chosen.
The issue was first introduced in .15. So you can either keep running .14 or apply the manual change mentioned above to run the .15.
We have built the .16 and it's going through QA testing at the moment. Once all tests have passed, we will release it.
Once you are running .16 please make sure uncheck the "Disable multi-thread loading" option and test to make sure the fix is good.

Stéfane Lavergne

Perfect, thank you for the update.
