CSV export with Inherited hosts

I tried multiple options:

• Right click on Vault -> Export -> Export all host list (.csv)
• Right click on Vault -> Export -> Export special -> Export selection (.csv)
• Right click on Vault -> Export -> Export special -> Export vault (.csv)
• Advanced search -> Find all required entries -> Export as CSV

I think that it's could be relatively easy to add it in the Export all host list action. They other one might be more tricky. I will create a ticket for that.

I tried using Export all host list again, and that unfortunately won't help us. I just realized using this action it doesn't export subentries at all (or am I doing something wrong?). And it also doesn't include properties as Connection type, credentials (user, password), etc...
The most ideal would be to add some checkbox like "Resolve Inherited properties" right next to "Resolve variables" that is available when doing Export selection, Export vault and others. But I know I might be asking to much.

I just noticed new improvement regarding "Export all host list" in latest release notes. Thanks for implementing that!
However, this doesn't solve our issue, as I've described in previous post.
Is there any chance you would implement this change also for other export functions like Export selection, Export vault, etc..., or should we find some workaround for our case?

I'm not sure I can easily implement it for the other export since it's the .rdm format and it's XML. Perhaps I'm missing something?

I was talking about .csv export. I tried all the options I mentioned in previous posts:

• Right click on Vault -> Export -> Export all host list (.csv)
• Right click on Vault -> Export -> Export special -> Export selection (.csv)
• Right click on Vault -> Export -> Export special -> Export vault (.csv)
• Advanced search -> Find all required entries -> Export as CSV

The first option should be fixed (according to release notes), but it doesn't include all the properties we need (connection type, credentials, etc...).
I just tried the rest of the options and they still don't include parent entry ID and they don't resolve Inherited properties, as before.
I hope it's clear now.

I did some refactoring to include the resolved host in the missing Export special menus. Unfortunately this will only be available in the next major update 2025.1. The beta is planned early in January.
