RDM opens in collapsed all view every time

avatar

Hi support,

It seems like since the RDM update to v2024.1.30.0, it opens in "collapsed all" view every time and I cannot find a way to overcome the issue. The tree view setting "open collapsed by default" is NOT selected.

I've tried to rename/delete the file RemoteDesktopManager.ext from %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager without any luck. The file got recreated properly, however still the custom expanded tree view was not saved when exit, and next time RDM still opened in collapsed all view.

Is this a known bug from v2024.1.30.0?

Thanks
Aragorn

Please update RDM to the latest 2024.1.31 version and let us know if that helps.

I just installed 1.31 and I can confirm as well that the issue is not fixed. RDM used to open with the tree as I left it when I closed the application. Now it opens fully collapsed every time. I also confirmed that the "Open collapsed by default" setting is disabled.

I assume I am using the default local data source. My installation is just a standalone install in Windows 11.

Excellent! I appreciate the communication back and forth. It is rare for a software company to communicate this well on a support issue. Nice job!
