multiple simultanous RDP / VNC connections open - (un)mute live tab
Dear all,
thank you for giving people like myself the opportunity to check out Remote Desktop Manager before deciding if it is the right product for our needs.
Here is my problem:
It is no option to configure connections either as muted or unmuted. We don't want to reconnect. Instead, manipulation of the software's connection tab audio output seems possible, what do you think?
Is RDM having such a feature?
Hello,
Thank you for your detailed description and for considering Remote Desktop Manager for your needs.
Regarding your inquiry about muting or unmuting each connection tab independently within RDM, currently, RDM does not support direct manipulation of audio inputs/outputs for remote sessions from within the software itself. This is mainly because RDM is typically used more as an IT management tool rather than a monitoring application, which means it does not include advanced audio management features that you described.
As an alternative, you might consider using external scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to manage the audio settings on the remote systems themselves, although this would require more setup and might not be as seamless as you would prefer.
Best regards,
David Hervieux
