Hello,

By categories, do you mean folders? If so, the shortcut feature already exists.

If you have a tree that looks like this:


And you would like the entry MyRDP to also be in the Folder2 folder, you can simply right click the MyRDP entry > edit > create shortcut, and from there select where you would want the shortcut to be. In my case, I've selected Folder2. The end result is the following:
