Mouse Input lag - RDM (Mac) to Windows server
Hello,
I have recently begun to experience a mouse input lag when using RDM (Mac) to connect to Windows hosts. The delay can be 3-10 seconds after performing an action. Only affects mouse input. Keyboard is fine.
Mac OS X: 14.4.1
RDM: 2024.1.8.6
Windows host: Windows Server 2019 Datacenter build (17763.5696)
Occurs with different mice (cable and wireless). Does NOT occur if using touchpad. Occurs on any Windows host I connect to.
May I have some guidance for resolving this? Please let me know of any other details that would help this along

Are you able to attempt the connection outside RDM to see if you encounter the same behavior?

I tested the connection using the Microsoft Remote Desktop app and did not experience the same delay.

I was unable to reproduce your issue. Could you please create a new local data source, recreate the entry, and see if the issue reappears?

Thank you for the responses.
After further investigation I confirmed the issue was occurring due to a QoS issue on my Asus router. Changing my connection type to Ethernet resolved the lag problem.
Despite this minor issue, I am enjoying RDM as my main remote desktop management app. Thank you!
