Trying to connect to a Extreme Switch via Console cable from a Macbook air with only USB-C

Hi everyone,

So I am trying to connect to a Extreme switch 5952GTS, with a Macbook air M2 with only USB-C, I am able to now get the console cable working. But I am having trying to get the serial terminal to work with my MAC. So I have it working, but I would like to get this working in "Remote Desktop Manager".

The speeds I am using are the following:

Baud rate: 9600 
Data bits: 8
Stop bit: 1
Parity: None
Flow control: XON/XOF

When I test this on Serial 2, this work without any issues. But when I try with the same settings on "Remote Desktop Manager" I am having issues and I can see text, but looks like wrong speeds. I read somewhere someone talking about "Type" I need to change something. But I am not sure.
I also saw another article but can't find it again. Talking about activating vt100/ansi , is this possible im "Remote Desktop

Has anyone done this or can help out that would be great.
