We have been experimenting with shortcuts to RDP connections in RDM (with Business Hub), but a shortcut only gives us the 'Select Entry in Navigation Pane' action.
It would be a great improvement for us if you could add the 'Open Session' action on the shortcut as well.

Hello,
We will open a ticket and see what we can do to support this. One thing to keep in mind when it comes to shortcuts in Hub, only the original entry can be opened. This means that for example, if your entry inherits credentials to its parent folder, even if the shortcut is located in a different folder, the credentials resolving will always be done using the context of the original entry.
This also implies as a solution that the "open session" button we would add for this would simply redirect to the main entry and then open it, so it would do the same as clicking "select in navigation pane" and then "open session".

Thank you very much Hubert. It would still be a great improvement for us. Using the 'select in navigation pane' takes us away from the folder we're working in and may need other information from, so just having the ability to click 'open session' without removing that focus would be perfect.
Hello,
We will have to see what we can do to keep the focus on the shortcut entry, as the solution I outlined would not behave this way due to needing to select the 'source' entry of the shortcut to then open it.

Hi,
Sounds good, thank you for looking into this!

Another bump for this feature as well.
