Workspace browser extension stop working with RDM

Hi, with latest update of plugin for Chrome (2024.1.1.1) and RDM (2024.1.19) the workspace browser extension stop working, with error:
Failed while sending request. Please verify if your RDM is open

I've tried to change some options in plugin/RDM without success.


Any suggestion?

Update: seems a problem with the local Chrome extension; with Edge, works. On another machine, works also with Chrome.
I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall the extension, same error. Any idea?

Hi,

Your Chrome browser may be configured to enforce HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security), which applies HTTPS to every request.

Hi,
I've resolved. Checking in registry, there was a dirty entry on this key:
HKCU\Software\Google\Chrome\NativeMessagingHosts

removed the value referring to RDM and the extension started to work as expected.
