Disable Modal window for "Retrieving System Information"

Hello,

When performing a load from system information on an entries Asset\Networking page, a modal window pops which prevents doing any other activity in RDM, as typically the retrieval can take 1-3 minutes. Is there a way to make this retrieval a background process?
