Good morning,
I use Remote desktop manager on Mac.
I connect to Windows Remote Desktop sessions.
I configured the keyboard in the connection properties to “Send in unicode”. With this option the key placement corresponds to my MAC keyboard. However I can't do blackslash. The Option + Shift + / combination does not work in the integrated session. Only locally on my MAC.
If I disable "Send as unicode" then the keyboard behaves like a Windows keyboard. In this case I manage to make a backslash with the combination Alt GR + 8 but in this case I lose the placement of the keyboard keys on my MAC. Do you have a solution to make a backslash with the keyboard in unicode mode?
PS: I am on the latest version of MAC OS and Remote Desktop Manager.

Hi,
I just tried sending a backslash with “Send in unicode” and it worked.
What language input source are you using on your Mac?

Hello
I am with a French keyboard in Azerty
Hi,
I just tried it with a french Azerty keyboard as input source with "Send in unicode" turned on. It appears to be working with the shortcut (Ctrl + Option + 8)
the problem is a difference between where Macintosh French keyboards put the backslash (which is ⌥ + ⇧ + : ), and where Windows French keyboards put the backslash (which is Ctrl + Option + 8).
Let me know if this fixes your issue.
