Hi

I tried this new feature with version 2024.1.12, here is my setting:


But seems tab not change anything even my terminal has constent output there ( I use ssh terminal to manage my switch), is there anything I should check?

Could you update to the latest version of RDM 2024.1.17.0 which can be downloaded from here: https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/home/thankyou/rdmsetup/

Our QA department was unable to reproduce the issue with this version.

Hi

I use terminal to manage Cisco switches.

I tested it more carefully, let me describe this more carefully:

  1. When you press backspace key to end of terminal, it will trigger bell behavior to change tab color
  2. When terminal in focus, the output on terminal screen some time will trigger bell behavior to change tab color, but seems not sensitive enough or something wrong, some time not working at all.
  3. When terminal not in focus, it will not trigger bell hehavior even there is output. I hope this can be fixed first.

I can't give you an estimate right now but it's near the top of our developper's task list, so we should get started on this soon. We're not sure what the issue is yet so the solution may not be simple.
