Is it possible to add/configure my own ssh config file for all ssh sessions in RDM?
Something like below:

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,
Could you please specify the version of RDM you are currently using?
That being said, could you provide me with some additional details on what you're storing in this config file?
Let me know
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Currently we're using RDM version 2023.3.35.0. The most important ssh config settings are ServerAliveInterval, ForwardAgent and something with ssh keys.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
I see, would having this configuration in the SSH Shell entry "Properties" directly not work in your case? If you need to edit multiple entries at once you could use the Batch Edit feature:
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/commands/edit/batch/batch-edit/
Alternatively, perhaps using Templates would work in your case?
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/commands/file/templates/#create-a-new-entry
Let me know,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
For some reason I don't see the Template option in RDM. The point I hear the most is that for example the option "Enable TCP keepalives" seems not like to work, the SSH session automatically disconnects after about 10-15 minutes, If the user use his own ssh config/client with the option "ServerAliveInterval" it works. Is there a way to force that SSH sessions in RDM doensn't disconnect automatically?
Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
Could you confirm the value you have in the "Ping Interval" field under the "Advanced" section? If this is set to "0" this could explain why the Keep Alives option does not seem to be working.
Let me know,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Yes, the "Ping Interval" field is set to "0". We will try to set it to "300" (5 minutes) and look if it works. I will let you know the outcome.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
Perfect, I will wait for your return regarding this,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Problem solved by enabling the option "Enable TCP keepalives" and setting "Ping Interval" to "300". Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
Perfect, I'm glad to hear that!
Feel free to let me know if you have additional questions regarding this,
Best regards,
