Linking credential entry to a session entry in a different vault

Is it possible to link a credential entry that is stored in a vault to a session entry that is stored in a different vault then were the credential entry is stored? I'm aware of the functionality of linking credentials to the session entry in the same vault, but for this case it is mandatory that the credential entry and the session entry are in different locations/vaults (no user vault) in RDM.

This is not currently possible. This is something that has been requested multiple times by our users in the past, but it's complex due to the way RDM was designed. Over the years we have made a lot of changes that have no direct impact on the application's functionality but are getting us closer to being able to add this feature. All this to say, we would like to eventually have this functionality and we are working on laying the groundwork to get there.
As an alternative, if you are using our Hub or Server products, there are credential entries for these where you can fetch an entry from a specific vault and use it in your session entries. This could be a way to work around this for you while we don't have a native solution.

Thank you for your fast response to my feature request. Unfortunately this feature is not available in RDM. Is there anything known about when we can expect this functionality?
We don't have an estimated time on when we will be able to integrate this natively within RDM, unfortunately.
