hello team,
I started to use Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager for few weeks now, (im still using mRemoteNG)
I wasn't able to find a place which I can enter my login name to set it for all servers,
i tried on the root folder to enter my user name and when im opening the session its not there, but when i set it in individual RDP connections, its show when Im opening the session
2nd question:
there is the place i setup the "allow open multiple connections" in general place with effects all RDP's connections? i found it on individual settings, but ive more than 450 servers i need to set it up
tnx in advance!
Hello,
Question #1 - Place to enter login name and password
If you are using the same username and password on all your servers to authenticate, I would recommend configuring the credentials at the top level folder and use the inheritance feature to avoid entering the credentials on each individual sessions. For more information's, you could consult https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/concepts/intermediate-concepts/inheritance/ .
Question #2 - Allow open multiples connections
There's indeed an option to enable this on all your sessions at once. Go in File -> Options -> Applications and turn on the Allow multiple connections options
On a side note, when you need to change a setting on several sessions at once, it's possible using our batch edit feature. More information's could be found here https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/concepts/intermediate-concepts/batch-operations/
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
