Opening Cisco AnyConnect takes several minuts

lately when open a connection for Cisco AnyConnect it takes several minutes for the command prompt to appear and a successful execution of a connection happens just about 1/3 of the times especially the ones with a second password tends to fail.
The connections are old entries, but I don't seem to be able to see obvious settings that could optimizing the issue or has changed since they were made.

I see, that is indeed odd, could you confirm which version of RDM you are currently using?

I'm also wondering if you attempted to recreate the entry to see if this helps with the issue? I don't think this should affect the behavior but it does not hurt to try.

I'm running version 2023.3.39.0 which it says should be the newest available.
I have tried to recreate the connection and the connection time has not changed, but I'm 2 for 2 on successful connections, but if that's just beginners luck I don't.

Well... I mean the time problem never went away, so it's still only slightly more convenient to open it from RDM compared to open it manually and coping the password from RDM.

I see, when you manually launch the VPN outside RDM, do you encounter the same behavior or is it starting instantly?

Manually it take a few seconds, perhaps 5 when it's slow, before prompted for password.

Would it be possible for you to create a portable installation of the latest version of RDM and see if this issue still occurs? To do so, you will need to do the following:

1- Download the .zip file below:
https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/thankyou/rdmbin
2- Create a new folder on your Desktop
3- Extract the content of the .zip file into the folder created at #2
4- Go to this folder once the .zip file has been extracted and run remotedesktopmanager.exe
5- Connect to your data source
