Using network device as SSH Gateway / Jumphost

Using network device as SSH Gateway / Jumphost

avatar

Hi All

I was wondering if it is possible to setup a network router (Cisco/Juniper) as an SSH gateway?
We are configuring a new datacenter and at the moment we need to SSH to the internet router then SSH to each connected networking device using SSH.

Would it be possible to use the SSH Gateway / Jumpbox feature to login to the internet router then automatically jump into another networking device behind the router?

I know I can use a login script to do this but id rather not if possible.

Regards
Troy

Hello Troy

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,

I see, we do have the following knowledge base article regarding creating an SSH Tunnel, I'm wondering if this would be what you're looking for in this case?
https://docs.devolutions.net/kb/remote-desktop-manager/how-to-articles/setup-ssh-tunnel/#create-an-ssh-tunnel

Let me know,

Best regards,
