Good morning.
I don't know how hard the implementation would be, but an option to limit the number of Cloud backups within RDM would be awesome!
I just got a new company laptop and when installing RDM and restoring from my other laptop cloud backup, I noticed almost a year of backups which I don't need to go that far back.
I think something like the following would be awesome to implement:
Number of Backups:
Two Weeks (Would be great, but I think ideally the "months" would benefit folks more if had to pick and choose the battles)
One Month
Two Months
Three Months
Six Months
One Year

Hello,
I like the idea. Thank you very much

Thanks David.
The most common backups for a DR environment (Commercial or NIST) are:
7 Days, 15 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days, 180 Days, and 365 Days.
I'm glad you like the idea, cuz that would probably also save some space in the cloud. :-)

Good morning, David.
I am curious to know if the team has thought about implementing this?
I stood up a new DataSource last week, and currently have over 500 backups in the Cloud which definitely are not needed.
Thanks!

Good morning, David.
I was curious to get an update on this to see if there's any plans for implementation in a near future release?
Thanks!

Hello,
I've done the the first step to only display the recent backup and the favorites. It still on my todo to implement the cleanup

OK, thank you for the update, sir. I keep going in and deleting the plethora of backups I have that are not needed.
Have a great rest of your week, sir.

How about limiting the number of local backups? I only see an option to HIDE backups older than 6 months, but that doesn't help. I don't want to run out of disk space just from this app's backup.
Hello,
Indeed, that is something we could add, but in the meantime, you can delete it manually since it is organized by dates.

I've already done so, and I COULD write a script and run it via task scheduler, but I shouldn't have to.
Do you know when this will be implemented? It looks like this feature have been requested by other people for a long time before I posted this request (1 year ago according to this thread).
