Create own template for entrys

Hi There
We are looking forward if we should store license information from various software in DVLS. I know there is a software license template. But in the most cases we need some special field or fields they are named diffrent, that our users know what fo fill in there. I saw that its possible to create costum entry templates, based on existing entry types, and there we could add some Costume fields. This would be an option but my question ist now, if its possible to remove the unwanted/needed field in my template and make some field mandatory. Or if its possible to create a "blank" new entry template wehere we can say I want only field x,y,z...
So are there any solutions for that to make this true in DVLS in combination with RDM?

Hello Patric,

It is possible to rename our custom field with the name that you want. It could help you to add context.

And you can also add mandatory properties here :

Note that we have a known issue with last RDM version 2023.3.37.0. It doesn't apply the mandatory properties for the custom field, but it will be fixed in 2023.3.38.0. This version should be available by the end of the week.

Thanks for your explanations.
I will look with my colleagues, if this works for them. Personally, I hopped, that we can create a complet new entry, with only this fields which are required, for our cases.
