Multi line on connection bar

Multi line on connection bar

Hi,
On Windows RDM, users can see all their open sessions on multi line connection bar. However, on MAC version, It is not possible. Having single line with a limited number of connection tab sometimes confuses.

I checked the settings of APP, but I coudnt find any option for this.

Hi,

At the moment, the component we use for the tab bar in RDM Mac does not support multiple level like the one in Windows does, it function pretty much like the Safari bar does. Unfortunately, this would be anything but a trivial thing to implement. We will keep this in mind, but it is not planned for the foreseeable future.

Just for checking.

Is there a chance we can get this feature soon? Because single row connection bar is a bit not useful when you have multiple open connections.

Hi,

Just a quick update, there’s been no progress on the multiline connection bar since our last communication. It’s still on our radar, but we haven’t been able to allocate time to it yet.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as that changes.

We’re sorry for the delay on this feature. Unfortunately, it would require a complete rewrite of the connection bar to make it possible. It’s still on our to-do list, but since it involves a significant amount of work, we can’t provide an ETA at the moment.
