Search box clears when changing from Favorites to Vault

HI,
If I type something in the search box while on the Vault tab, and then change to the favorites tab, the text stays in the search box. However, if I have it in there while on the favorites tab, and then I change to the Vault tab, it clears the search box.

1) I'm pretty sure there's a setting for this somewhere but I can't find it. Can someone help me with that?
2) I'd consider this a bug since it only clear sometimes. I don't want it to ever clear. Could this be fixed?
3) Apparently in the Paid version of RDM, or maybe it's based on the data source type, if I type in the Search box while on the favorites tab, I can set it to also search the Vault tab at the same time. Could this be added to the Free version and /or the SQLite data source type?
