Italian keyboard, inverted keys

Hi,

The Windows Italian keyboard layout(screenshot 1) is different from the Mac Italian keyboard layout(screenshot 2).
We send keycodes to RDP which is the position of the key on the keyboard and not the actual value, which in your case swaps "<>" with "\|".




To resolve this, follow these steps:

1. Open Remote Desktop Manager (RDM).
2. Navigate to File > Settings > Types > Remote Desktop (RDP).
3. In the keyboard section, switch the option "Send input as unicode:" to Yes. (Refer to screenshot 3)

By changing this option to yes you will now send the actual value and it should fix your problem.



Additionally, make sure that in the settings of the RDP connection, in the "Local Resources" section the same option is at yes or default. (Refer to screenshot 4)

Thanks for the tips, but if i enable unicode and type < or \, the program spam these key unlimited O_O
The other keys are totaly wrong

I just tested this with an RDP session to an ubuntu machine and I didn't have the problems you mentioned.
Could you send us a screenshot of the local resources of your session?
