Type Clipboard Issue

If you update to version 2023.3.28.0 do you get the same issue ?

I could update to 2023.3.28 yesterday and the issue still remains. First char is missing.
Now I get the same behaviour in simple rdp sessions as in jump connections, that the type clipboard spams chars multiple times, so the pasted password is completly wrong and not only missing the first char. But this seems only to occur if I press the Type Clipboard button again.

Yes, I've made changes here that I'm hopeful will fix this. The changes were approved internally but I've been waiting for some stabilization to happen following the 2024.1 release. That stabilization phase should be complete today, which means my changes will be merged today or tomorrow and arrive in an imminent release.

Please hold on for a few more days and I should be able to update this thread with some solid information on those fixes getting release.

Thank you for your patience. I've integrated an update for the "Type Clipboard" feature that I hope will iron out these issues and improve accuracy. With the changes, the custom entry in the RDM .cfg file is no longer necessary (although leaving it present won't have a negative side-effect).

Those changes should be available with the 2024.1.19 release; I'll confirm by updating this post at that time.
