I have an rdp connection, which when opened, will automatically open the remote desktop connection software in the server, from which I go to my desired server.
When I open the first connection again, it automatically sends me to the last opened server.
What I want is something like the External mode, which runs in another process, and I can select again the server. The problem with that is that I cannot dock the screen.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,
I see, If I understand correctly, you're currently using a Jump Host and you would like to have the session opened on the Jump Host be "Undocked" instead of "Embedded" or are you simply looking to have it be opened externally?
Let me know,
Best regards,

Hi,
Its not a jump host as per definition of a jump host, but it serves as one.
I open session to jump host => Remote desktop app is opened there => I connect to my server from there.
The second time I open a session to jump host (so that I can connect to my second server) :
Opened session to jump host => I get redirected to my first server.
This happens when I open as Embedded.
When I open as External:
I open session to jump host => Remote desktop app is opened there => I connect to my server from there.
What I want is the behavior of external, but with the tabs docked. (I'm assuming that external opens the session as some kind of different process)
Best Regards,
Marko
Hello Marko,
Thank you for your reply,
I see, when "External" option is selected for the "Display" of your entry "Properties" RDM is simply using command lines to launch the session in MSTSC, from my understanding I'm afraid we would not have any control over the session from that point .
Let me know if this helps or if you have further questions,
Best regards,
