[macOS] Keeper Password Manager - Integration does not work properly
I work with RDM on a mac.
We have not stored the passwords in the RDM database, but have linked the entries with those of keeper password manager.
I regularly have the problem that the access data is not retrieved after clicking on the corresponding object.
Instead of the user name or password, i receive the error message "Could not resolve host 'mac01.local'".
I find this error message extremely annoying, as it occurs regularly.
Then i have to click on the object several times until it finally works.
The "push" function - that you confirm via keeper password manager - has never worked for me either.
I have the impression that "keeper password manager" is not given the same priority as e.g. 1password - although i suspect that keeper is used more in the MSP area.
Hi Fabio,
I've taken the liberty of moving your thread to the Mac section of the forum.
As for your first issue, I'm not that familiar with our integration of Keeper, but looking at it, it looks mainly like a cloud solution. Do you know what the mac01.local refers too? At first glance, the message seems to indicate pretty much what it says, that the host cannot be resolved, which (especially if the issue is erratic) that there is an issue with the host. What login type is your Keeper entry configured with? Can you provide a screenshot of the error?
For the second issue, we'll have to investigate (and see if we still have a Keeper configured with the push.
Best regards,
Xavier Fortin
Hi,
We think we have managed to solve the issues with our integration of Keeper Password Manager
The fixes are in our newest version of RDM Mac (2023.3.10.2).
If there's anything don't hesitate to communicate with us.
Best regards,
Michel Lambert
