RDM 2FA Authentication and Feature Request: "Undock" Option

RDM 2FA Authentication and Feature Request: "Undock" Option

avatar

Hello

I have a couple of questions and a feature request related to Remote Desktop Manager (RDM).
Question 1: Issue with 2FA Authentication
Every time I start RDM, the app requests me to identify with 2FA, which is perfectly fine. However, I've noticed that during the day, when I update some items, it asks me again to identify with 2FA. Is this normal behavior? Can I control the frequency of 2FA prompts within the application?
Question 2: Feature Request - Adding "Undock" Option
I would like to suggest a feature enhancement for RDM. Is it possible to add an "undock" option to the machine menu that appears when I right-click on a machine? This addition would greatly improve user experience, allowing for smoother management of connections. I believe this feature would be beneficial for many users.
Thank you for considering this feature request!

  • My RDM Version is: 2023.3.22.0 64-bit

Looking forward to your insights and feedback.
Best regards,
aviado

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,

That is indeed odd, perhaps you could provide me a screenshot of this prompt? I'm also wondering what type of data source you use with RDM?

Regarding your feature request, my recommendation would be to post your idea directly on our feature request section here:
https://forum.devolutions.net/forums/17/remote-desktop-manager--feature-request

Our feature request forum allows our community to submit/share ideas with our development team, service desk, and management team. It’s also an opportunity for our community to demonstrate an interest in your idea. We use this interest to prioritize the features we implement.

Let me know,

Best regards,

Samuel Dery
