Hi,

When I use terminal connect to Linux machine, I got strange behavior on terminal last line, it always up and down, I attached screen record, I think this may related with Linux Host monitoring display font setting. Can you help fix it?

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. To better assist you, could you kindly provide us with the following information:

•       Does the last line go up and down seem timed, or does it go up and down randomly?
•       What is Your RDM version.
•       What is the operating system on both of your machines?
•       What is the type of entry you are working with?
•       Any additional information you believe might be relevant.

Once we have this information, we will be better equipped to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Best regards

Carl Marien

Hi,

Here is answer
•       Does the last line go up and down seem timed, or does it go up and down randomly? I noticed it goes up or down when CPU/MEM info update, that why I guess something may relate with font.
•       What is Your RDM version. 2023.3.22
•       What is the operating system on both of your machines? Win11
•       What is the type of entry you are working with? Linux SSH terminal.
•       Any additional information you believe might be relevant.

Hello,

Thank you for your prompt response.

To assist us further, could you please try to replicate the issue using a portable installation of RDM? Here’s how you can do it:

1.     Download the .zip file from this link https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/home/thankyou/rdmbin/
2.     Create a new folder on your Desktop.
3.     Extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file into the new folder.
4.     Open the folder and run "remotedesktopmanager64.exe."
5.     Connect to your data source.

This step will help us determine if the problem is specific to your current RDM installation.

Additionally, if the issue persists, could you attempt to recreate the problem in another application, such as Putty? This will help us further isolate the issue.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation.

Best regards,

Carl Marien

Hi,

I tried download the file in link, there is no remotedesktop64.exe, but I tried remotedesktop.exe, still same problem. To answer your question about putty, there is no this problem in putty.

Hello,

Although we once were able to reproduce this issue, it doesn't seem to happen anymore on our end.

Could you please let us know if this issue still occurs for you on the latest version (2024.2.13.0) ?
