Having to login to my RDM account multiple times a day

Not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but as of the latest version of RMD I have to verify my 2fa code for my Devolutions account. I have devolution cloud backups enabled and still work. However just today alone, in under an hour, I have had to reauthenticate my 2fa code three times. This is new behavior, and once I re-authenticate it works again for a bit, but really hampers productivity when I have to stop dead in my tracks, grab my phone to get the code and plug it in just to keep working.

Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Could you tell me which type of data source you are using?

The 2fa is what I setup on my Devolutions web account just getting a 6 digit code from my MS Authenticator app. Again I have had this setup for a while now and the latest version of RDM is prompting a few times a day where before it was

My data source is just the default local data source,

I tried the same setup, and I do not have any prompt to reconnect.
Could you tell me if you are using any VPN or losing your connection occasionally?

Could you try a portable version?
To do so, you will need to do the following:

(*Close RDM)

1- Download the .zip file below:
https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/thankyou/rdmbin
2- Create a new folder on your Desktop
3- Extract the content of the .zip file into the folder created at #2
4- Go to this folder once the .zip file has been extracted and run remotedesktopmanager.exe
5- Connect to your data source

This test will allow us to rule out your local installation of RDM as a possible cause for this issue.

Not running over VPN, no noticeable drops in connection. Seeing as it is not something I can trigger at will, I will run the portable version and see if it still happens.. But again, I have had this setup this way for months, and this has only started happening since the latest version.

Well i noticed that there is a new version 2023.3.22 but when I go to install that. I get an error.. The File "Devolutions.Updater.exe" is not marked for installation.. then it errors out and leaves me with no installed RDM reinstalling 2023.3.20 does the same thing.. something with the portable version of RDM has messed up my install.

Now I am fully unable to get into my RDM instance that was installed.. it is completely gone and will not reinstall.

If someone can provide some guidance on how I can actually get RDM installed again that would be great as I am stuck running the portable version only.

I did just reply.. sorry I should have replied earlier. For some reason I was able to get this installed properly this morning. I am no longer having this install issue.
