Microsoft Dev Box Support

Are RDP connections to Microsoft Dev Box VMs currently supported?

As best I can tell, you have to connect via the Microsoft Remote Desktop application (msrdc.exe, not mstsc.exe). I'm honestly not sure if it is actually an RDP connection, it feels very Horizon like for those of you that are familiar with the VMware ecosystem.
