Mac Remote Desktop Manager does not ask me to re-authenticate with invalid creds

Using the windows version of Remote Desktop Manager, if I "fat finger" my password, it asks me for the password again before closing the window.

But on the mac version, once I "fat finger" the password, it throws a login failure message for about a half a second, and then closes the tab.

Is there a way for it to ask me for the password again rather than close the tab and make me re-initiate a login attempt?

Hi bmccoskey,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter.

After conducting some tests, I discovered an inconsistency between the MAC and Windows versions.

Rest assured, I will work closely with our development department to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I will keep you updated on the progress and let you know once we have a resolution in place.

If you have any further questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Best regards,

Hello,

As of the latest version (2023.3.7.0), RDM Mac should work in the same way as RDM Windows
and ask for your password again if there's an error in it.

Don't hesitate to communicate with us if there's any problems.

Best regards,

That seems to have done the trick.

Thank you!
