Upgrade RDM Free Edition 2022.2.18.0 to RDM 2023.2.28.0 - Unable to open old database says wrong password

To assist you better, could you please open the Windows file explorer and navigate to %localappdata%/Devolutions? Kindly verify if there are multiple folders named RemoteDesktopManager.

Your database is named connexion.db, and it should be located in one of these folders. Can you please confirm if your database is in the correct folder?

Connection.db is located on a network location, RDM cannot open it, but RDMF can..

As mentioned in your case.
Your issue was related to an older version that could share the connections.db through the network connection.
Since 2022.3, this option is not available anymore, and you need an advanced data source to share your database.
