Remote website tool

Hello,

We use a piece of software that uses https:// and I was wondering how do I configure web entry login to detect that I am logging into one of my 900 PC's at the address https://10. range? I don't want to create 900 entries of course. Is this possible? I tried to research this and I was not able to find anything with my search queries.

We are currently on 2012.2.26.0

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,

I have a few questions which you can hopefully answer.

  • Which version of RDM are you using? I noticed you mentioned 2012.2.26.0, is there a typo in this version number?
  • Which type of data source are you using?

I'm not sure I understand your current configuration, perhaps you could provide me with some screenshots of this configuration and of your entry Properties?

A better understanding will allow me to provide a more accurate answer to your question,

Let me know,

Best regards,

Samuel Dery

oops sorry 2021.2.26.0

Currently I am using just a web browser(http/https) setup with just one connection with an IP to a single PC.

when I connect to the PC I get this screen and when I select remote control it doesn't display anything

I need to have this setup for many PC's

Hello,

Thank you for your reply,

No problem, I see, to clarify, I'm assuming this website entry is being launched in "Embedded" mode would this be correct?

I would also like to confirm the behavior when pressing this option when accessing this page directly from your browser outside RDM?

Let me know,

Best regards,

yes, embedded(tabbed) is what I am using.

When I press it outside RDM I am connected directly to the PC to remotely work.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply,

From my current understanding, I'm afraid this would not be possible in "Embedded" view. Perhaps you could use "External" mode in order to launch the website entries directly in your browser?

Let me know,

Best regards,

yeah, I have been tying to get that to work as well, but it won't fill the credentials and I cant figure that out.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply,

Would you be interested in a remote session so that I can have a look at this issue with you?

To do so, I would need to open a case for you regarding this, would the email used for your account be the correct one to use? If not, let me know, and I can send you a private message so that you can provide me with the correct email.

If this is easier for you, you can send an email to service@devolutions.net, and it will create a case automatically, simply mention this topic in the message so that it can be easily identified.

Let me know,

Best regards,

Samuel Dery
