Password Expiration and Change Email Alerting

Thank you for your suggestions. Could you please answer the following questions?

1. Who would be the owner of an entry? The creator? A specific user or group flagged as owner on the entry?
2. Could you explain a little bit the reasoning behind this suggestion? What I'm trying to figure out is if this needs to be opt-in by users or if the administrator/vault owner should enforce it. For example, it could be a vault or entry setting. It could also be some sort of subscribe/unsubscribe option that users can turn on themself on entries of interrest.

As mentionned in that topic, we do plan on working on a reporting service which will be required to be installed on-prem or in your cloud. Our servers do not have access to your entry information other than the name. (For example, we can't check the expiration date of a certificate. It has to be done on the client side; hence why the service is required.)

Thank you for the detailed response.

1) Yes I would see the creator as the person to be notified.

2) To provide some context and an example, this would be a physical building's alarm code and we want to notify internal and external users that they can expect a change and/or that the entry has been modified.
The notifications being on an entry, not vault, level would be preferred as it's more granular.
Ideally, a user would be opted-in by default, and they would be able to opt-out if they wanted. The ability for an admin to enforce the alert would be preferable but as long as the default is opt-in, I believe it would fill our current requirement.
