Hi All,
im trying to batch edit several entries and change RDP settings, so i am doing:
Entry -> Edit -> Batch Edit -> Edit Entries (Session Type Settings) -> Experience -> Activate "Detect network automatically"
I can do this and click OK... the window closes without any error but the setting remains unchanged. What am i doing wrong? Is there a way to set this particular setting for all entries at once?
Hello dhuebner,
The way you describe it, it should save. We are going to look into it to see if it is an issue with RDM.
If there's anything meanwhile, don't hesitate to ask.
Best regards.
Michel Lambert
Hello Huebner,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter.
To help us to understand your issue and to be able to reproduce this on our side.
Could you provide the version of RDM and the type of data source you are using?
Could you tell us on how many entries you're trying the batch edit?
Are you using a Windows or a Mac workstation?
Best regards,
Patrick Ouimet
Hi dhueber,
We already have a ticket opened for this. The Batch Edit feature has not thoroughly been kept up to date as we've added new settings over the years.
In the mean time, if you want to batch edit this setting, you can select all your entry, right click, select Edit -> Edit (Special Actions)... -> Custom AppleScript and use the following script to edit the value:
set value of _connection of property "RDP.NetworkAutoDetect" to true save _connection
