Hi there
Passkeys are the „next big thing“ for authentication. Some Password Managers are implementing support for Passkeys. Is something planned to integrate Passkey support?
Best regards, John
Hello,
This is definitively on our todo list and roadmap.

nice! 👍
Hello
Is there a schedule for Passkeys Support? Google is beginning to force the usage of Passkeys, we have a little pressure here.
Best regards, John
Hello,
It's on todo list but I don't have an ETA. Do you have a link about Google forcing the usage of Passkeys? I've missed it.

Hello again,
Also to make sure we focus on the right thing. How do you plan to use the passkey with our product? Do you open your web sites in external mode, embedded with Chrome or embedded with Edge? I'm asking the question because each scenario require a different solution on our side. The external mode will require a browser extension and in embedded mode, we will need the third party to support passkey management.

We use it externally only
Any update on this, anno 2024 it is time to use passkeys and certificate based authentication.
Also to use within 365 login.

Hi,
I have some good news regarding passkeys. We have added support for passkeys in our Workspace browser extension, they can be saved in DVLS and Hub and used to login to sites that support them. Once configured the passkeys will be made available on log in. This feature is technically still in preview but I have personally been using it without issues for the past couple months.
https://docs.devolutions.net/workspace/kb/workspace-browser-extension/passkey/
We also support passkeys to connect to a Devolutions account and Devolutions Hub. This can be configured on portal.devolutions.com under Security Key and Passkey.
Let us know about your experience if you try these features.

Sébastien Duquette
