Templates still "disappearing" randomly at start

Hello,

We are using RDM Enterprise 2023.2.18.0 and today it happened again a bug that we noticed in previous versions but that it seemed resolved (it's not). Our RDM database is backed by a MS SQL cluster, and we have hundreds of host entries which depend on the availability of a specific host template.

All of a sudden, without an apparent reason, upon the RDM startup the entry templates are not available, and a couple of time in the past it occurred that they were only partially available. It's like there is a sort of race condition at startup and the templates fail to show up.



We have noticed also that both the "Administration Logs" and "Application Logs" tabs are empty as well, so unfortunately we cannot provide additional information to support the case. What we do know is that, normally, by existing and restarting RDM all goes back in place and indeed, while writing this post, we did exactly that and the entry templates magically reappeared:

Hello,

We've been trying to figure this one out for a while now, we have a few fixes we had hoped would resolve the issue. Visibly this is not the case, I will have another look at it today.

In the meantime, CTRL + refresh on the template window should bring them back.

I've spent the last few days chasing this bug, found something yesterday and applied the required changes. The fix will be in the next release.
