Best password manager in combination with RDM?

Best password manager in combination with RDM?

ok i'm about to throw bitwarden out the door and switch everything to another password manager.

I have a Remote desktopManger environment for our company with about 40 users.
about 200 customers who all have defined at least 4 servers.
I have all my passwords stored in Bitwarden cloud and linked to the API.

at least 1x every 2 months no one can work anymore because there is something wrong with the Bitwarden connection.
"Unable to retrieve Bitwarden credentials", I can shut down at night and leave everything working, and come in in the morning and nothing works.

then I can send another email to Bitwarden support, the first response is always within 5 minutes and then 10 standard questions are asked, which I answer and it remains silent.

Updating RDM, downgrading, rebuilding Bitward and API nothing helps.
somewhere there must have been a change ( and 99 out of 100 cases not on the RDM side that runs locally ) and my users are dissatisfied.

what would be the best practice?
Run Keepass or Lastpass locally and extract the passwords from it and test it intensively yourself in a test environment during updates?

who has a stable environment?

Hello,
I want to be completely transparent with you regarding our Bitwarden integration. While it is a popular choice, I must admit that it is not officially supported by Bitwarden, and as a result, we do not have direct contact with them. The same situation applies to 1Password and LastPass. However, we have a different scenario with Keeper Security. They actively collaborate with us, providing an SDK for integration.

Alternatively, we offer our own hosted password manager called Devolutions Hub. The advantage of using Devolutions Hub is that it comes with the benefit of nearly direct access to our developers through this forum. We strive to be as responsive as possible, even when the answer may not align with your preferences.

While we don't claim to be perfect, providing the best possible solutions and being honest with our community are of utmost importance to us.

Regards

David Hervieux
