Just to make sure I haven't overlooked anything.
I am trying to set up a website for access at a customer's site.
On the first page I have to login with username and password. Then I am redirected to the 2nd page where I have to enter the OTP.
Now I noticed that the Username and OTP field have the same Html Control ID, which makes the automatic filling from the DWL impossible.
Is there another way in RDM to distinguish if the IDs are identical, for example via the name or via a combination like Name.ID?
Hello,
can you provide us with a screenshot of the inspect element? This will greatly help us in understanding the issue more effectively.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Carl Marien
Hi Carl
Login Page uses the ID input_1 for the username
OTP Page uses the ID input_1 for the OTP
Now when I add the identical ID in the website session, DWL can't distinguish between them and automatically process them.

Martin

Hello Martin,
Thank you for these screenshots!
According to the information I have found on that matter, the fact that both fields use the same IDs prevents RDM & DWL from telling them apart. At this time, it is now possible to work around this behavior.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi James
Thanks for your feedback, would have surprised me too if that was possible.
