Issue with WOL on LAN connection between computers

Hello!

I've spent countless hours researching and attempting to fix the following issue.

I have an external PC connected via LAN (USBC Adapter) directly to my main PC. Main PC motherboard LAN is connected dirrctly to router.

• External PC has been authorized to accept WOL through Bios, power management & device manager.
• After sending packet to the mac address that corresponds to the External PC while sleep/shut down, nothing happens.
• Ethernet indicators are active while shut down and sleep, additional i have used a sniffer and packet is being sent.

Please assist.
