Offline cache up-to-date logic problem, maybe just in my head

Hello,
we are using the RDM a few years now and it is running very smooth, also with 6.5k entries in one vault with a single SQL DB behind it. In the last weeks we migrated to the RDM DS and made a new structure with one vault per customer. This migration also was very straight forward and got us no real problem. Thanks for this :) But now I ran over a little problem. We are IT Consultants and have a very heavy need of the offline cache functionality, e.g. customer is offline and the technicians need to fix that. In our old structure this was not realy a big problem, because the offline cache was up to date as far the technician got online once a week. But now we have roughly somethin about a hundred vaults and we are facing the problem, that the technician gets the message that the vault is offline not accessible because it is too old. I can bypass the problem with RDM -> Administration -> System Settings -> Application Specific -> Cache/offline tab and set the expiration to 30 days and the notification to 14 days. The setting "Prompt refresh all vaults on startup" is not the real solution I am searching for, because it delays the start of the application with an unnecessary question and an "I open every vault and click on update" task. This is just my opinion :)
Could it be possible to implement a "hold all vaults up to date in the background when connected to datasource without opening every vault" function in the RDM? Or have I overseen this setting and me is just blind? :)
Thank you for your time
Best regards

Hi Alexander,
We have been working on changing the internals of RDM to allow for background refresh. We've gotten much closer in the last few versions but we have yet to solve a few key issues.
For now, other than "Prompt refresh all vaults on startup" you can do a CTRL+SHIFT+Refresh. This does the same as the prompt but on demand instead of at startup. So it could be done prior to leaving the office so that all vaults are synched and ready for offline.

Hi Stéfane,
thank you for the information. Me and my colleagues are looking forward for the feature. The keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+Refresh is also helpfull.
