Hello,
The Linked Account feature allows users to associate multiple accounts under the same user profile. This feature is particularly beneficial when a user needs to manage different accounts simultaneously. For instance, a user may have an account with the email address administrator@acme.com and another account with the email address _administrator@acme.com, which serves as an elevated or privileged account.
The primary purpose of Linked Account is to enhance user convenience and streamline account management. In the future, there are plans to expand this feature further by introducing a unified data source configuration. This would allow users to easily switch between their linked accounts while maintaining consistent settings across them. Additionally, users will have the option to choose whether they want to share certain settings among all their accounts.
Another advantage of Linked Account is the ability to share a single license across multiple users. This means that instead of purchasing separate licenses for each account, users can utilize a shared license, simplifying license management.
Although the documentation for this feature is not currently available, it is expected to be released soon, providing more comprehensive instructions and guidelines for utilizing the Linked Account functionality.

Hello David,
Oh - so this is basically a feature I requested! :)
If I got you right, then it will be possible in the future to have one "master" account with a personal vault and link another account to it so they see the same secrets. My use case is that we have users that need to use jump hosts for specific administration tasks and there they are not allowed to use their regular account.
What does the feature right now? And in what direction must the linking happen?
Brgds Andreas
Hello,
Exactly, This is the first step but eventually we want to able to have a master account. For now the linking direction does not matter but I will try to improve the UI to indicate which one is the master account.
