RDM Feature Request: Terminal Services Console

Hello,

I’d like to enter a feature request for RDM’s Terminal Services Console. It would be extremely useful to see the client’s IP address in the terminal sessions and possibly what server hostname the session belongs to.

In my use case, I have a local data source with a folder containing our 8x RDS servers, right click on the folder > view > Console Management > Terminal Services Console. When we see all RDP sessions, it cannot visually separate sessions according to host server which makes me have to have a separate tab for each host server.

Is there any way for this feature to be added?

Thank you for the request. I have opened a ticket and we will see what we can do.

Hello,

This feature has been causing issues for some users so it will not be activated by default starting from RDM 2023.2.16.0

A new checkbox will be available in the embedded view which will add the "IP Address" column when checked.

Please do note that even though the UI is still responsive when checking this checkbox, this will do the same as a "Refresh" and therefor it will take a little bit of time before the IP Addresses show up
