Hi,
It could be really nice if we could use autocompletion like in a terminal when defining credendials in a session.
Actually we can write the complete path to the required object but it's a bit too long and time consuming.
Especially when there is dozen of entries in the targeted folder.
It could be also nice to be able to have a button for setting the credential with the advanced search feature.
Hello,
Could you show with screenshots where you mean exactly? I'm not sure I understand where you would like this "auto completion" feature.
Do you mean in the window where you select linked credentials?
I want to be sure to correctly understand your request before opening a ticket.

Hi,
Regarding your screenshot, for the button I mean it could be nice to trigger the advanced search for selecting the credential. :)
For the autocompletion, here is an example:
When I select Linked Vault for selecting a credential I had to write test_asp\example\credentials\ad-aa (the highlighted part).
But I would like to be able to write test_asp\example\credentials\ad-aad to navigate.
The red part would be the autocompleted path by RDM.
I will also quote Github defintion:
Using autocomplete is as simple as pressing the [TAB] and the active command line options will fill in.
If more than one option is available, you can hit [TAB] twice to
display all possible choices and continue typing until there is only one
matching choice left.
It should really work like a Linux terminal

Hello,
Thank you for the details! I have opened a ticket with this information. We will keep this in mind when improving RDM in the future, it's an interesting idea.

Hi,
Is there any news?
Best regards
Hello Arnaud,
Nothing new for now. We've had other priorities since but we still have this possible improvement in our notes. We're currently reworking our UI architecture and this is the kind of thing that will become easier for us to achieve after this is complete.
