Delinea - Session Recording
Hi all,
We are implementing PAM through Delinea Secrete Server, and have as a requirement to have the Secret Server to record the sessions on tier 0 assets.
I presume we could potentially use the Secret Server as an RD Gateway, from RDM, but I cannot make it work from the "Gateway" tab of the interface.
Could anyone who already did such setup before give me some hints?

Hello,
AFAIK, you must use their proxy in order to use their recording services. We have never integrated further than that, RDM can either connect directly to the asset, or by using their proxy.

When you say "use their proxy", that sounds really interesting... what do you mean / where can I configure this?

Sadly I do not have that information, they have provided us a cloud instance for testing purposes but we do not hold a license that gives access to their proxy.
You would have to contact their support at this time.

With the newest updates of RDM now having the option to use RDP and SSH over Delinea Proxy, is the recording working with these types of sessions?

Hi Michael,
Unfortunately, not at the moment.
The recording is client based, which means that Delinea implemented their own clients that record and send frames. Since we don't use those clients, the recording wont work at the moment if you launch with RDM.
That being said, we have two tickets opened for this. We can't provide an ETA yet, as this is non-trivial since we have to re-implement the recording on RDM side. I'll link the tickets to this thread.
