normally we use the custom installer creation tool to distribute the software. But when I logged in today there are no tools available so I can not build the new version:
I already tried installing the newest version but I get the same result. Am I missing something?

Have you tried to sign out and reconnect to see if that helps?
Could you please try to connect to https://rdm-online-services.devolutions.com and verify if you can create the Custom installer from that web portal?

Thank you for the fast response. I forgot about that site, seems to work:
Logging out and in didn't work. Even installed the software on two additional installations (1 virtual machine, 1 private). That didn't help either and there were no tools.
But as long as the site works I don't realy need it.

In that case, you are most likely experiencing this issue because you are using either an XML or SQLite data source where your RDM license has not been registered.
In order to use the "Custom Installer" feature, your RDM "Team" license must be registered under Administration -> Licenses https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/windows/installation/client/registration/team-edition/
Please note that your license cannot be registered on an XML data source.
