Password expiration?

Quick question.

I'm getting a message when trying to login to my laptop that my pw expired and need to set a new one:



I've never seen this before and don't remember ever setting any expirations anywhere, either in RDM or any or my machines.

While trying to look for where I can change this to never expire (I only use RDM at home on a couple machines, not a business environment) I noticed that by the pw strength meter it shows 3 months. Looking at another RDM machine it says 3 years. I've tried looking through all the settings in RDM, even typing "expiration" in the search field and nothing came up.

Is the expiration set in Windows itself or something (these are RDP to Win machines), or is the setting in RDM? Is there a way to disable expiration?
