Hello, I have servers which use DHCP. I want to build a host list in RDM with a name für the host and the IP-Adress. The host name I want to use in the connection entries, so that I have to change the IP-adress when it changes only in one place. Can this be done with RDM?

Hello,

For RDM 2023.2 coming out this summer we have added a new entry called IP List, which allows you to create a list of pairings of IPs and hosts. This could be a first step towards what you're looking for.

For now though I don't think we have anything to accomplish this. The closest we have is you can configure your host in your entry to Inherited, and make it inherit through the folder structure. This would allow you to manage the host from only one place. Maybe this could help you for now.
